changes

"The water may be swirling.  the waves may be crashing. but you are standing on the solid rock of God's love..."

This explains my life lately.  So many emotions, feelings, and change of life.  It is amazing how quickly things can change.  You may think you have your life completely planned out and in the blink of an eye it changes drastically and turns completely around to nothing you would have ever expected.  I guess we call this God's plan and how powerful and unexpected it can be.  I am reminded of the fact that it is not up to me alone to figure out life, but that we always have someone beside us to help and guide our path.  How awesome and comforting this is and how blessed we as believers are.  That is the solid rock we should confide in each and every day of our lives.

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful..and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.  Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."
Hebrews 12: 1-3

This is the solid rock we can stand on and the foundation we can follow.
