2013 revealed

Some updates as far as this year in review thus far.

January 2013.  It seems like it went by in the blink of an eye and life continues to go faster and busier.  I have still not finished my wedding gift to Lorin and Ryan and am procrastinating incredibly much on this project.  It isn't even that it is very extensive, but just the fact that I am arts and crafts challenged at times.

Let's see.  January was a very busy month full of coaching, training, and competitions.  Four of us from the gym (Crossfit Lodo) competed in the Glenwood Springs Competition and ended up getting 5th place out of 22 teams total!  I was very proud of all of the athletes because we all got a personal best on our 1 RM Front Squats!  #winning

February so far has been filled with a lot of the same story stuff including trying to get bigger and stronger by training harder and more each day for the CF games that are coming up in March.  I hate to be only talking about crossfit, but it is an awesome thing to see as a coach that your athletes have made great gains in their lifts and gymnastic skills.  Great job everyone and can't wait to compete with y'all in less than a month.  I think the countdown is 24 days until the Open!  Lets GOOOOO!

On another note, I am getting involved with coaching more teams at CCU and it continues to be a blessing.  The different dynamics of the various teams and their interaction with one another is fascinating to me as a person, leader, and their coach.  I wish the Women's basketball team the best of luck as they head into the playoff season of the greatest time of the year: March Madness! :)

On the flip side.  Fellowship Denver is my church home here in Denver and I am absolutely loving being a part of a church body and community.  I feel like God has called me to be a disciple of His and lead those in the city of Denver to Him.  He is doing amazing things in the lives of many people who are curious about what it means to have a relationship with Christ.  I never thought I would see myself as a "city girl", but am starting to enjoy the opportunities that are present in a large city.  God is teaching me a lot of what it means to be patient and how to love others well.  I pray that if this finds you and you read up to this point, that God will richly bless you with his love and grace and I have no doubt that He will.  Accept His grace and let the Holy Spirit move through you, strengthening your faith in God and it will change your life.  God will change your heart and show you His way to everlasting righteousness with and in Him! Everyone deserves to have a relationship with God and by grace you are saved through Him!  Accept His intimate love that is has been poured out for you and let his love radiate through your soul.

2013 is going to be a great year!
